We would like to invite applicants for graduate studies to the Department of Educational, School and Counseling Psychology’s (ESCP) Statistics, Measurement, and Evaluation in Education (SMEE) degree track. Graduates from our SMEE degree track gain key statistical and measurement skills that can be applied to various educational and psychological settings, and our graduates can anticipate employment in faculty, research, government sector, and/or private sector positions.

The ESCP department has premier faculty in their field who have records of influential research and high quality instruction. Students in our SMEE program are highly integrated with and assist our six core SMEE faculty members, who have published over 50 peer-reviewed journal articles in the past two years, and are involved with grants totaling over $15 million from both government and private foundations.

Research assistantships in the SMEE program afford students opportunities to work directly with ESCP faculty on research projects involving a wide range of educational and psychological issues. There are also several opportunities to gain experience teaching via teaching assistantships. For both these research and teaching endeavors, our department has a proven record of providing strong support from faculty mentors and procuring student funding.

Please visit our website to gather more information about our SMEE program and to get to know our faculty. If you have any questions about the program, you can contact the program coordinator, Dr. Matthew Easter via email at easterma@missouri.edu.
